99*STAR is an eclectic collection of musicians, whose live performances have been received with enthusiastic critical acclaim. The band takes you on a journey of melodic songs, rich in vocal harmonies, backed by acoustic guitars picking their way through a long standing rhythm section of drums (Bob Lamb) and bass guitar (“Concrete” Clive). Reminiscent of west coast rock, these two anchor the songs allowing the free flowing birdsong of the Hannah “Reeno”’s electric violin to float lyrically. Songwriters Rob Tyler and Drew Taylor complete the band, drawing inspiration from Neil Young and the Byrds.
