Based in Birmingham, Charlie is a local folk and blues singer-songwriter. He recorded his debut album in Moseley, just metres from the festival site, with numerous guest appearances including Hannah Baines of Misty’s Big Adventure and even his mother. Charlie cites The Doors, Bob Dylan, Sting and The Beatles as his main influences, but growing up in Birmingham exposed him to many acts over the years including The Steve Gibbons Band, The Toy Hearts as well as the large family of Irish and traditional musicians that regularly meet in the pubs around Moseley.
