Frogmorton’s 1976 album was described as a strikingly accomplished mid-seventies UK folk-rock album in Steeleye Span tradition with beautiful female vocals and wonderfully arranged songs. It features a wide range of instruments including mandolin, guitar, kazoo, psaltery, accordion and other eclectic instrumentation. The album includes band history and a bonus track, and is much sought after by collectors of folk rock.
Regulars to our festival may recognise Mike from the band as he’s been a steward for the last two years. Over a few pints after last year’s festival Mike wowwed us with his Guitar skills and a booking was made. There’s much talk about Frogmorton’s reunion and we’re all very excited about their appearance at this year’s festival.
