2017 saw multiple successful rereleases of Dave Kusworth’s early works. Troubadour issued Dave & Nikki Sudden’s 1983 7” EP Shame For The Angels for Record Store Day 2017, which sold out on release date. The next of Kusworth’s early bands to get the re-issue treatment was TV Eye “The Lost Studio Recordings” which was issued on both limited LP (which sold out of its pressing in its first month) and CD. In Spain, Bang Records issued the Jacobites heart of hearts album on vinyl, and You Are The Cosmos label issued Jacobites “Old Scarlett” on vinyl.

In the UK, Kusworth compiled a 2xCD and LP of the Tenderhooks material called “Monkeys Choice” to be released in October 2017. Also to be issued in 2017 is ‘The World of Dave Kusworth’, an anthology to be issued on double vinyl and also CD & DL which will feature 1 track from the forthcoming brand-new album. After an incredible career in folk music, this forthcoming new album is to be released in 2018.
