A Bull

Andy has been recording and performing live around the West Midlands since early 2004. In his latest incarnation, A Bull, he has gone back to writing deeply personal music, keeping the songs clear and simple. Mixing classical guitar playing with a melodic finger picked style; Andy creates a unique identity for each song. Vocally, he has a simplicity and quirky lyrical phrasing, evocative of the likes of Elliott Smith and Jose Gonzales. Drawing on his close links to Birmingham heroes Calories, Andy will be backed by the band, adding a new dimension to his live performance.
