Goodnight Lenin are rapidly developing into something truly special. Influenced by Burt Bacharach, Johnny Flynn, and Fleetwood Mac, they first caught the attention of audiences in Birmingham after releasing a YouTube video of a simple acoustic performance in which they sat perched on the counter tops of their kitchen.That they’ve only been at it for around a year is surprising considering the fine quality and organisation of their vocal harmonies. 2010 is set to be a great year for the band as they have supported First Aid Kit on the duo’s Birmingham leg of their UK tour, and will be releasing their first limited edition single this summer.
