Hannah Peel with Table
Prolific composer, performer and session musician Hannah Peel has generally played live with artists like the Unthanks and David Ford until now. But her spellbinding vocals and brilliant violin, trombone and piano were always destined to find a place at the front of the stage one day. That day has come.In response to her attention-grabbing performances with a puppeteer at Liverpool Music Week, Metro referred to Peel as a ‘thrilling’ artist and her music world, ‘bewitching’, ‘impressive’, and even ‘Tim Burton-esque’.
At this year’s Moseley Folk Festival, Hannah will be playing alongside Table, a Manchester-based six piece, led by songwriter David O’Dowda, who together comb through a multitude of modern folk to create something wonderfully new.
