Oh Ruin @ Moseley Folk Festival

Oh Ruin

Eoin O’Ruainigh started out in Dublin playing guitar in a range of bands, one of which swept him up on a support tour with Morrissey. Now based in London, he borrows melodies from old Irish folk songs and entwines them in his loose yet intricate solo tunes that combine stomping blues with the quite of the campfire. Not content with writing and performing songs, Eoin has trained as a luthier and now makes instruments in his own East London workshop. He even crafted the guitar he now performs on.
