Phil ‘Swill’ Odgers is an acoustic guitarist, singer-songwriter. A founder member of UK Folk Rock Rebels ‘The Men They Couldn’t Hang’. New solo album Uke Town (double demo CD) in the works.

Best known as one half of the legendary joint vocal strike force of The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Phil Odgers strikes out on his own. Sharp songwriting – a journey through kitchen sink realism and social commentary. Phil’s warm melodic voice and rhythmic strumming acoustic guitar take centre stage throughout, aided and abetted by fiddle, double bass and lead guitar in all the right places.

Duo show with the legendary violinist Bobby Valentino, fellow member of The Men They Couldn’t Hang.

Bobby Valentino is a violinist, singer, songwriter and an occasional actor and model.

Bobby first came to fame in 1975 as a renegade virtuoso with the Fabulous Poodles and with them he released 3 albums and extensively toured Europe and the U.S.A.; they split in 1980. He is now known as a session violinist and lead singer/songwriter of the Americana band Los Pistoleros.

In between he has released 3 solo albums of his own songs, acted in films and TV commercials and has played live and recorded with the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Mark Knopfler, Big Country, Billy Bragg etc. He was also involved in a case in the High Court in London to obtain a writing credit on the classic hit “Young at Heart” by the Bluebells (he wrote the annoying violin hook line).
