Postponement Announcement

Dear Moseley Folk & Arts Family,

It comes with great sadness but perhaps no surprise that we will be postponing Moseley Folk & Arts until 3rd – 5th September 2021.

This has been a heart breaking decision for us to accept as we’ve spent the last 10 months putting together our strongest line up yet.

We were so excited about seeing you all in September and bringing you everything you love about Moseley Folk & Arts.

However your safety, as well as that of the artists, staff and crew who make Moseley Folk & Arts possible, is always our top priority. While there was still some hope we wanted to hold on for as long as possible but with no indications when large gatherings can take place we have no real option but to postpone.

After some lengthy discussions (hence the delay in announcing), we are pleased to announce that we have already confirmed over 95% of this year’s lineup for the new 2021 dates. These include The Waterboys, Richard Hawley, The Wonder Stuff, Jade Bird, Gruff Rhys, Stephen & Claire Duffy plus many more. Please head to our line up page to see who is confirmed for 2021.
Sadly, Passenger was unable to confirm for Moseley Folk & Arts 2021 so will be announcing the Saturday night headliner replacement further down the line. We are still in discussions with The Staves regarding their Sunday slot and again will update you all as soon as we know more.

So, for now, like the rest of the festival world we’re pressing pause on 2020.

To those who have bought tickets your commitment and support is so important to an independent business like ours, so thank you so much, we couldn’t do this without you!

Your tickets will automatically transfer to 2021. You do not need to do anything, simply bring your 2020 ticket with you to Moseley Folk & Arts 2021. In appreciation you’ll be receiving a free ticket to a Moseley Folk Post Covid party (when its safe to throw one) plus your choice of a pint, programme or T-shirt on us at next year’s festival. We will be letting you know after 24th July 2020 how to claim these thank you gifts later in the year.

We’ve been humbled by your support and kind words over the recent weeks and we really value our Moseley Folk & Arts family and friends.

If you would like to request a refund please email including details of your purchase before 24th July 2020. Naturally, we are keen to stress that, if you can afford to defer your ticket it would go a long way to supporting the festival during these challenging times.

Moseley Folk & Arts may not be coming to Moseley Park this September but we will soon be announcing details of our virtual event coming to you online on 5th Sept 2020.

In the meantime please stay safe and look after each other.

Carl, Gerv, John and all the Moseley Folk & Arts team x
