3-5 Sept 2027. Moseley Park, Birmingham.

In 2024, we were thrilled

to bring Moseley Park & Pool to life over three unforgettable days from 30 August to 1 September. After months of preparation, we welcomed thousands to celebrate music, arts, and community spirit.

We kicked off with high-energy sets from The Scratch and Flogging Molly, with Levellers delivering their anthemic folk-rock to Friday’s crowd. Saturday night saw the triumphant return of Dexys, with Kevin Rowland leading the crowd through Geno, Jackie Wilson Said, and Come On Eileen — moments that reminded us why they’re so beloved.

CMAT captivated audiences with her BRIT Award-nominated songwriting, including a stunning rendition of the traditional ballad Willy O’Winsbury. Across the weekend, Katherine Priddy enchanted listeners, Mdou Moctar mesmerised with Tuareg guitar, and our colourful Procession, complete with woodland creatures and a giant corn dolly, brought magic to the festival grounds. We closed on a high with Belle and Sebastian, who invited ten lucky dancers onstage for a joyous finale.

Speakers Corner, previously on what is now Court No1 moved to Folk on the Slope, giving more breathing space for our ever-developing arts programme. The sloping meadow is much better suited to stretching out to relax and enjoy talks, poetry, film, music and comedy.

This year saw Mark Steel, Zoe Lyons and Matt Bragg headline the comedy bill, talks from Kit deWaal, Carl Chinn and Lucy Cooke and family fun from Nick Cope and the Pop Up Puppet Cinema.

As the festival ended, we were already looking ahead to 2025, announcing Fisherman’s Friends as a first headliner, ensuring our spirit of music, joy, and togetherness would continue.

2024 was a year to remember — full of unforgettable performances, shared moments, and the unique Moseley magic that keeps us going.
