Should I bring a raincoat?

Please be prepared for all weather, our festival is held in an open field, with little shelter. So bring anything that would make you most comfortable if it were to rain or shine.

When is my favourite band playing?

A rough guide to which bands are playing on what day is available on our artist page. Timings will be provided on our website schedule calendar, in the festival programme and clearly displayed throughout the festival. The first band usually starts at approx 13:00 on Friday and at 11:00 on Saturday & Sunday, with each night finishing at 22:30. To hear prior to the festival, sign up to our mailing list here, where we will be sharing 3 weeks prior so you can plan ahead and 1 week prior on our social channels.

What facilities are available for disabled visitors?

The festival site has a disabled viewing area and easy access toilets, however, please be aware that the park is on a gentle slope and in places the ground is uneven. For further information please visit our Access & Disability page here. If you still can’t find the information you need, please email info@theticketsellers.co.uk

What is not permitted on site?

Each Ticketholder will have received a Do’s & Don’t email prior to the festival. Please make sure you read this thoroughly. Gazebos and tents are not permitted. The use of camping chairs is permitted towards the back of the park, this area will be clearly signposted and volunteers can point you in the right direction if you have any issues.

We follow the rule of thumb that nothing sharp or unsustainable should be brought into the park. Absolutely no glassware, please! Please decant any food items. Please do not bring metal cutlery. We have several large well stocked draught bars and specialist drinks stalls including; Cocktails, Wine & Fizz, Frozen Cocktails, Pimms, Craft IPA’s.

Due to licensing restrictions you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol on site, please do not be offended if we ask to search your bags. Any alcohol found will be disposed off. You are able to bring soft drinks but these must be in cans. Absolutely no single-use plastic is allowed to be brought into the festival. There are water points on site so you can bring a refillable bottle.

Dogs are also not permitted on site unless they are guide dogs.

Anyone wanting to bring professional camera equipment (i.e. anything more than a phone camera) will need a Photo Pass. To apply for a Photo Pass – please email amy@moseleyfolk.co.uk with Photo Pass in the subject. We ask for all photos to be shared with our marketing team for future promo use.
Can I come and go from the festival?

We appreciate your patience with us in 2022 whilst we tested our newest ticket entry system. As you know, we implemented this to help manage the volume of people now joining us every year and to keep everyone safe from overcrowding at the entrance and in the park. From your feedback, overall, the process was excellent but minor changes were needed to support your needs, which we hope we’ve accommodated below.

We understand that no re-entry has meant changes to our regular local visitors and the way you enjoy the festival, but we just can no longer continue to safely manage the flow of people coming and going to and from the festival down our narrow entrance. We’re by no means alone in not having the resources to allow thousands of people to come in and out while keeping our event safe.

However, we do want to be as flexible as possible to meet your needs, and if you do have a genuine need to leave once during the day for reasons such as taking your children home, disability access etc, we can accommodate where possible. At the discretion of security on the door, we have introduced a limited pass-out system to help this work safely. As you leave, share your reason, make sure you get scanned out with a pass-out pass and when you return scan back in.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly for more specific requirements and we’ll always try our best to help.

A side note to the above, Touts have always been an issue for the festival, especially for those that fall prey to invalid ticket purchases. So as a reminder, please refrain from selling your tickets to touts outside or purchasing from them, we can’t guarantee their validity. Please also refrain from handing wristbands over to touts as you leave or anyone else, as they are non-transferable and won’t gain them entry.

What are the rules regarding children at the festival?

All under 18’s must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 21+ (maximum 2 children per adult). Those aged 18-20 do not need supervision, but cannot supervise those aged under 18 themselves. We also run a Challenge 25 policy on all of our bars.

Children are welcome at our family-friendly festival. U18 tickets are valid for children between the ages of 12 and 18. Children under 12 years old may enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult (aged 21+).

All children must have some form of ID with them. Our staff reserve the right to question the age of anyone entering the festival. Valid of forms ID include a passport, driver’s licence, Validate UK cards or any other photo ID.

Please feel free to bring folding chairs and blankets and make yourselves comfortable. Some of the artists on the bill are more of a sit down affair but the majority are of the get up and dance variety. We ask that chairs are kept back beyond a certain point so there’s room for both the seated and standing (there will be signs and stewards to show you).

Can I pay with Cash?

Unfortunately, we are a cashless event. Card, Apple Pay & Google pay are accepted by all vendors.

What are my travel options?

Due to the location of the Festival, there is no on-site parking. We recommend using public transport or taxis. Please see all travel info here.

I have brought tickets for a group and we are not all arriving at the same time, what should we do?
